This is another example of two radars displaying the exact same scenario in two different modes.
The target to port is a channel marker that does not move. The target to starboard is a moving vessel.
In relative Motion mode, it is easy to see we will collide with the target to starboard if we both maintain the same course and speed.
True Motion mode shows us the True Heading of the moving target, but it is harder to determine how close they will come to our own ship.
